Adverse Reaction:This product has hematological toxicity, although it does not cause aplastic anemia, but its inhibition of reversible erythropoiesis is more common than chloramphenicol. It has a strong immunosuppressive effect, about 6 times stronger than chloramphenicol. Prolonged oral administration can cause digestive disorders and vitamin deficiency or secondary infections. It also has embryonic toxicity. It can inhibit the metabolism of hepatic microsomal drugs, affect the metabolism of other drugs, increase the plasma concentration, and enhance the efficacy or toxicity, for example, can significantly prolong the anesthesia time of pentobarbital sodium.
