COMPOSITION

Each 1ml contains Ceftiofur 50mg.

INDICATIONS

Antibiotic drugs, for the treatment of bacterial respiratory diseases in pigs. And for the treatment of bacterial respiratory disease, acute interdigital necrobacillosis (panaritium, foot rot) and bacterial component of acute post-partum (puerperal) metritis within 10 days after calving, susceptible to ceftiofur, where treatment with another antimicrobial has failed in cattle.

Interdigital (...acute interdigital necrobacillosis...), Pararitium (Pararitium, foot rot).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For intramuscular injection

Cattle: 1-2mg/kg body weight, i.e. 1ml/25-50kg body weight, for 3days.

Pig: 5mg/kg body weight, i.e. 1ml/10kg body weight. Once every three days, for twice.

ADVERSE RACTION

Very few sick animals are allergic to Ceftiofur.

Ceftiofur has some nephrotoxicity.

May cause disturbance of gastrointestinal flora or double infection.
