TRICHLORFON POWDER

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For oral administration.

Horse: 30-50mg Trichlorfon/kg body weight, i.e. 0.375-0.625g/kg body weight.

Cattle: 20-40mg Trichlorfon/kg body weight, i.e. 0.25-0.5g/kg body weight.

Sheep and swine: 55-100mg Trichlorfon/kg body weight, i.e. 0.68-1.25g/kg body weight.

Goats: 50-70mg Trichlorfon/kg body weight, i.e. 0.625-0.875g/kg body weight.

Sprinkle on the water.

Fish: 180-450mg Trichlorfon/m³ water, i.e. 2.25-5.62g /m³ water

ADVERSE REACTION

For livestock the amount of treatment can cause mild parasympathetic excitation in animals, and overdose may cause symptoms of poisoning, mainly manifested as salivation, abdominal pain, palsy, difficulty breathing, coma to death. For fish no adverse reaction according to the recommended dose.

SPECIAL WARNINGS

Pregnant animals and animals with heart disease and gastroenteritis are prohibited. Ruminants are more sensitive and prone to adverse reactions, use with caution.

Shrimp, crab, scorpion, freshwater white scorpion, scaleless fish, sea fish are prohibited; special aquatic animals are used with caution. Do not use when the dissolved oxygen in the water is low.

Forbidden to use with alkaline drugs. In the case of poisoning, use atropine and iodine phosphate as antidote. The used containers should be disposed properly and should not be discarded freely.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Horses, cattle, sheep, goats and swine: 28 days.

Fish: 500 degree days.
