Uganda's livestock sector, particularly poultry, faces significant pressure from high humidity and fluctuating temperatures, which accelerate the spread of pathogens. The demand for high-quality veterinary disinfectant has surged as farmers move toward more intensive farming systems in regions like Central and Western Uganda.
Currently, many small-scale farmers struggle with the stability of imported medicines due to the lack of cold-chain logistics. This makes the demand for stable veterinary tablets critical, as they offer better shelf-life and ease of administration in remote rural areas without refrigeration.
The integration of veterinary powder into feed systems has become a primary strategy for mass prophylaxis, reducing the labor costs of individual animal treatment while ensuring uniform dosage across entire flocks.
